Overview of the role:
- Drive plant finance control agenda through accurate, timely reporting, SKU profitability insights, and cost optimization analysis.
- Ensure strong governance by maintaining policies, controls, and acting as financial steward while leading and engaging a remote team.
- Deliver error-free financial reporting to Head Office, including detailed balance sheet reviews.
- Strengthen internal controls, support risk assessments, and ensure effective execution and ownership of key processes.
- Act as key liaison and SME for accounting, costing (COGS/MOH), SAP CO, and cross-functional coordination with operations and supply chain teams.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial reporting and analysis for Indonesia entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong variance insights for leadership.
- Own key reporting processes including monthly close, cost accounting, balance sheet reviews, cash flow, and regulatory/statutory requirements.
- Strengthen governance and controls by driving compliance, risk management, audits, and timely remediation of control gaps.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Operations, Supply Chain, Treasury, Tax) to support costing, CAPEX, working capital, and business decision-making.
- Lead, develop, and engage the finance team while driving process improvements, best practices, and supporting strategic planning and performance delivery.
Qualifications
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting with CA/CPA qualification; statutory accounting experience preferred.
- 5+ years post-qualification experience, including managing teams (5+ members) in MNC/FMCG environments.
- Strong analytical, commercial, and operational mindset with expertise in cost accounting, budgeting, and internal controls.
- Good knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, local standards, and systems like SAP/HFM.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and change management skills with a focus on process improvement and collaboration.
