Costume Character Performer - North Woodstock, NH

Our winter characters are an important part of the Ice Castles’ brand. Performers fill an important role in providing a magical experience at Ice Castles.

Responsibilities:

-Engage and interact with Ice Castles guests while remaining in character to ensure a positive and memorable experience.

-Participate in guest activities including but not limited to, meet and greets, photos, and conversations with guests.

Weather-appropriate costumes will be provided.

Skills Needed

-Excellent ability to handle public interactions and communications with guests of all ages

-Ability to remain in character and enthusiastically interact with guests

-Willingness to wear costume and makeup while performing

-Willingness to work outdoors in a cold climate. Warming breaks will be provided.

-Must be able to work evenings, holidays, and weekends. Shift length ranges from 4-8hrs

-Ability to work with management and character development team to create and produce quality character experiences for our guests

Qualifications

Previous acting or improv experience is a plus, but not required.

Pay: Starting at $17 per hour

Ice Castles is an awe-inspiring, must-see winter phenomenon that brings fairytales to life. The frozen attraction is located in cities across North America. Ice Castles is built entirely by hand using hundreds of thousands of icicles hand-placed by professional ice artists. The castles include breathtaking LED-lit sculptures, frozen thrones, ice-carved tunnels, slides, and fountains.
