Courier / Kitchen Assistant

Job Summary

The Courier / Kitchen Assistant is responsible for delivering and picking up documents, materials, supplies, food, and other items as requested by the company. This position also assists in the kitchen with food preparation, cleaning, organizing inventories and maintaining a sanitary work environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Courier Duties

• Deliver and pick up documents, packages, supplies, food, and other company materials.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of items to housing facilieties, clients, vendors, government agencies, and other locations.
• Obtain signatures and proof of delivery when required.
• Maintain confidentiality of company documents and information.
• Monitor and report vehicle maintenance issues and ensure the assigned vehicle is kept clean and in good condition.
• Follow traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
• Perform other related errands and tasks as assigned.

Kitchen Assistant Duties

• Assist with basic food deliveries, preparation and meal service.
• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, dining areas, and food preparation surfaces.
• Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing food supplies and inventory.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of food items in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Dispose of garbage and maintain cleanliness of kitchen facilities.
• Support cooks and kitchen staff as needed.
• Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Guam Driver’s License with a good driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices is an advantage.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.

Working Conditions

• May require frequent driving, standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying materials.
• May work in kitchen environments with exposure to heat, cleaning chemicals, and food preparation equipment.
• Flexible to perform both courier and kitchen support duties as needed.

Work Schedule

• Operational hours: Monday to Friday from 1:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. and Saturday from 4:00p.m. to 9:00p.m.
• Schedule may vary based on project demands, weather, and seasonal workload
• Availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, or on-call hours may be required to support dispatch and operational needs.
