About this role
The Overhead Crane Utility is responsible for safely unloading/loading of trucks, directing the flow of product for orders at workstations and ensuring that orders accurately get out on time. The OHC Utility will also assist flagpole preparation as needed.
1st shift: 7:45 am -4:30 pm

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Safely operate overhead crane on daily basis
• Provide product to pole prep and fabrication for order processing
• Conduct crane inspection and document any damage
• Maintain crane and hoisting mechanism
• Maintain and manage industrial lift straps
• Assemble and secure outbound anodize loads
• Load product during customer pickups
• Prepare flagpoles for shipment (drill/tap/tube)
• Organize & prepare orders for shipment
• Use hand and power tools
• Load/unload shipments
• Follow safety policies and procedures at all times
• Unload tube trucks
• Forklift operation
• Complete shipping, receiving, and transfer paperwork for flagpole shafts
• Responsible for the general cleanliness and organization of pole racks and bundle storage
• Assist in special projects as needed
Requirements
Completion of 4-years of high school, or equivalent is strongly preferred
2-5 years of related experience required
