Crane Operator - Sarasota / Fort Myers, FL
Crane Operator position available for projects throughout the Sarasota / Fort Myers, Florida area. We are seeking an experienced operator with a strong background in pile driving and Auger Cast Pile (ACP) operations.
Candidates must have applicable crane operator certification and experience operating both lattice boom and hydraulic boom crane configurations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate lattice boom and hydraulic boom cranes
- Perform pile driving and Auger Cast Pile (ACP) operations
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and complete required checklists
- Clean, lubricate, and perform routine operator maintenance on equipment
- Properly rig, lift, move, and position materials and equipment
- Ensure equipment is operated and maintained in accordance with company health and safety regulations
- Coordinate with ground crews, supervisors, and other equipment operators
- Perform other construction duties as needed
Requirements
- Pile driving and/or Auger Cast Pile experience required
- Current crane operator certification required
- Experience with lattice boom and hydraulic boom cranes required
- Prior heavy civil/construction experience required
- Knowledge of crane operations, rigging, load charts, and jobsite safety
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely under pressure
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of and commitment to company safety standards
- Background Check and Drug Test Mandatory
