Role Title: Cyclic Maintenance Operative

The Opportunity

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Cyclic Maintenance Worker to join Wairau Gateway (joint venture between Fulton Hogan and HEB Construction) and make a real difference to the look and feel in the centre of town.

As the Cyclic Maintenance Operative, you will help make Marlborough’s town centre a place to be proud of by delivering a consistently high standard of cleaning and presentation. You will also work as part of the Cyclic Crew to improve the level of service and take ownership of the quality of each task assigned.

Role Accountabilities

• Deliver assigned CBD cleaning and cyclic tasks to the required standard and programme
• Take pride in the presentation of public spaces and engage positively with the community
• Support colleagues, follow reasonable instructions and raise concerns promptly

• Operate plant safely, protect the environment and keep accurate work records

What you’ll bring to the table

• Current Full Class 1 licence
• Relevant cleaning, plant or traffic management training would be advantageous
• Class 2, 4 and WTR endorsements would be advantageous
• Able to work outdoors safely and undertake physical tasks
