Critical Care (ICU) Nurse Practitioner - Physician Assistant- Merrimack Valley


The CC Provider in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine will provide Critical Care Services for the Six Bed Intensive Care Unit. The attending Intensivist will serve as the day-to-day clinical supervisor of the NP/PA, and direct these efforts. Consultation with the supervising and/or attending physician is required for all admissions. Obtains detailed history and performs physical examinations on Intensive Care Unit patients.


Interpersonal skills needed for interacting effectively with physicians, staff, patients and their families. Analytical skills needed for evaluating patients, coordinating treatment plans. 1-2 years of Critical Care experience Required.


Masters Degree in Nursing or Graduate of AAPA/NCCPA accredited Physician Assistant Studies Program

A minimum of 2 years experience as mid-level provider in Critical Care

Candidates must be able to function autonomously and have experience with central lines and critical care procedures.
