Data Director

As our Dutch business continues to grow, we are expanding our leadership team with an additional Director to help shape the next phase of Datashift’s growth.

Operating at Director or Partner level, you will play a key role in expanding Datashift's presence in the Dutch market. You will help build our data practice, develop strategic client relationships, drive commercial growth, and contribute directly to the next phase of our journey. 

You’ll combine commercial leadership with active involvement in strategic client engagements, remaining close enough to the content to challenge clients while empowering your team to deliver. 

Your responsibilities 

• Join the Dutch leadership team to accelerate Datashift’s growth and expansion. 

• Drive business development and build long-term client relationships. 

• Leverage your network to identify and create new opportunities. 

• Develop and execute growth initiatives that strengthen our market position. 

• Build, coach, and inspire a high-performing consulting team. 

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients on strategic data challenges. 

• Combine commercial leadership with active involvement in client engagements. 

• Represent Datashift in the market and contribute to our thought leadership. 

Requirements

Your profile 

• 10+ years of experience in consulting, data, digital transformation, or a related field. 

• Experience as a Director, Associate Partner, Partner, or a similar leadership role, or ready to take the next step. 

• Strong track record in business development, account growth, and client relationship management. 

• Experience building teams, practices, business units, or new markets. 

• Strong affinity with data and data-driven transformation. 

• Experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Data Strategy, or a related domain is a strong asset.Deep expertise in at least one core data domain, such as Data Strategy, Data Governance, Data Engineering, Analytics, AI, Data Science, or Modern Data Platforms. 

• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and execution capabilities. 

• Well-established professional network in the Dutch market. 

• Fluent in Dutch and English.
