About the Role
As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust and scalable data pipelines. You will work with large datasets, ensuring data quality, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and modern data architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL processes for data ingestion, transformation, and loading.
  • Implement and enforce data quality standards and procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of data.
  • Perform data cleaning, data profiling, and data validation to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Develop and optimize data migration strategies for moving data between various systems.
  • Build and maintain reporting and analytics solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to understand their data requirements.
  • Implement and manage data solutions based on medallion schema architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers).
  • Design and implement data integration solutions for various data sources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-related initiatives.
  • Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with various database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake).
  • Strong experience with ETL tools and data warehousing concepts.
  • Demonstrated experience with data cleaning, data quality, and data migration.
  • Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Understanding of medallion schema architecture.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their data services.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
  • Familiarity with data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Dagster).
  • Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for data manipulation.
  • Prior startup experience.
  • Education & Certification
