About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineering Consultant to join Billigence India. This role will lead the regional offering, where you will design and implement scalable data solutions using cutting-edge technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, GCP, AWS, or Azure. You will help clients unlock the full potential of their data and contribute to building strong data engineering capabilities within the team, including mentoring junior team members. Additionally, you will play a key role in interviewing candidates for similar roles to support the growth of our engineering team.

What you’ll do:

• Design, build, and optimize robust data pipelines and ETL processes using Apache Kafka for real-time streaming data.
• Implement and manage data solutions using Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, and Apache Kafka.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored data solutions for both real-time and batch processing.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices across all systems.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to their technical development.
• Actively participate in interviewing and evaluating candidates for roles within the team.

What you’ll need:

• In-depth knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Services, and cloud-native architectures.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud-based data solutions for both real-time and batch data processing.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other programming languages.
• Solid experience working with cloud data warehouses and data lakes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring junior team members and supporting their technical growth.
• Active involvement in interviewing and evaluating new team members, ensuring the continuous strength of the team.
