As a Data Governance & Catalog Specialist at AFS, you will implement and manage the data cataloging and metadata strategy for the product.
Responsibilities
- Lead the integration and operationalization of the automated metadata publishing service tool to automate metadata extraction and the application of classification and security tags.
- Ensure that all data products within the data catalog are accurately tagged, described, and governed according to DoW policies, making them "readily consumable".
- Work with data owners to define and enforce data quality rules and access control policies.
- This role acts as part of the "Enabling Team" that supports domain data providers and consumers.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience with data cataloging tools and automated tagging platforms.
- Familiarity with Palantir Foundry's data governance features is also beneficial.
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, metadata management, data lineage, and data quality.
- Knowledge of DoW data standards, metadata guidance, and data classification requirements (e.g., CUI)
Clearance
- An active Secret federal security clearance is required

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. $135,300—$162,100 USD
