The Data Governance and Data Management Team Matters

We are a diverse team of 20 dynamic people full of ideas, energy and creativity and are absolutely passionate about our work.

This “work” is focused primarily around 5 key areas: Governance, Analytics Governance, Metadata Management, Data Quality Management and Master Data Management. We also offer more tailored solutions in the fields of Data Privacy, Data Security Data and Information Architecture, so one thing you can be sure of by joining the Data Governance and Data Management Team is that you will never be bored!

We are looking at taking on a new team member who will help reinforce our advisory services line!

Your Role Matters

No 2 days are alike as a Data Governance Consultant!

The diversity of our assignments and activities makes routine a distant memory. In your role, you will bridge the gap between business and technology to support our clients in their Data Governance & Data Management journey.

In this context, you will take on projects of varying complexity at our clients, ranging from short term (maturity) assessments and scoping studies, to longer term tailored Data Governance initiatives and solution implementations in the field of Data Governance, Analytics Governance, Metadata Management and/or Data Quality.

You will be given the creativity and freedom to build solutions that we can pro-actively take to market. By combining your business knowledge and technical skills you will support our clients in their Data Governance & Data Management needs.

Next to these advisory missions, and depending on your experience and personal interest, you will get the opportunity to be gradually involved in the entire business development and project lifecycle:

• Understand the strategic goals of a company and the crucial value of data

• Work together with more senior colleagues to deliver value to our customers

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our Data Governance practice to keep it tuned with market trends and technological evolutions (unstructured data, cloud, data privacy, …)

• Pre-sales activities such as proposal writing, preparing business cases, organising demo’s

You Matter

As a successful applicant you will have rocked, or will want to learn how to rock, in at least some of the following criteria:

• Master’s degree in the field of business, economics, management, data management or similar

• 3 years of experience in the Data Governance / Data Management domain

• An analytical and think-out-of-the-box mindset

• Data Governance tools (Data Catalogs, Business Glossaries) and concepts/frameworks

• Nurturing a commercial and customer-centric mindset

• Combining excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

• Working as part of a team player although also being able to work independently

• Business development and proposal writing

• DAMA-DMBOK

• English and Dutch or French
