Accountabilities:

The Data Governance & Quality Analyst will support the execution of data governance, data quality, and master data management initiatives. This role will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to improve data reliability, establish governance practices, and deliver actionable insights that support business operations and emerging technologies.

  • Support the implementation of data quality frameworks, including rules, standards, monitoring processes, and remediation activities.
  • Partner with business, IT, and data teams to identify, analyze, track, and resolve data quality issues.
  • Develop and maintain data quality dashboards and reporting solutions to communicate trends, progress, and improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze datasets to identify inconsistencies, gaps, and opportunities for data enhancement.
  • Support the identification and management of key master data domains, including documentation of data usage across systems.
  • Assist with data ownership and stewardship activities by helping define roles, responsibilities, and governance processes.
  • Contribute to improving master data management processes, including data creation, updates, and change management workflows.
  • Help align data definitions, structures, and values across enterprise systems.
  • Support planning, execution, and delivery of data governance projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and enhance data quality and governance processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to promote effective data management practices throughout the organization.
  • Requirements:

    The ideal candidate will have experience in data governance, data quality, or master data management, with strong analytical capabilities and the ability to collaborate with both technical and business teams. This role requires attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to drive progress in a changing environment.

    • Bachelor’s degree required.
    • 5–7 years of experience in data governance, data quality, master data management, or a related field.
    • Experience implementing data quality practices, including monitoring, rules development, and issue remediation.
    • Understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) concepts, including domains, hierarchies, and reference data.
    • Ability to analyze datasets and identify data issues using querying tools and analytical methods.
    • Experience developing or supporting dashboards and reporting solutions for data insights.
    • Experience collaborating with business and IT stakeholders to understand data needs and resolve data-related challenges.
    • Working knowledge of data models, data marts, and data warehousing concepts.
    • Strong ability to communicate technical data concepts clearly to business audiences.
    • Experience with data governance or data management platforms such as Informatica, Collibra, or Alation is preferred.
    • Certifications such as CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional), DAMA, or other data governance/data quality certifications are preferred.
    • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
    • Comfortable adapting to changing priorities and evolving business environments.
    • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive improvements without direct authority.
    • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
