Data Quality Coordinator

Luminate is currently seeking a meticulous, detail-driven Data Quality Coordinator to oversee end-to-end sales reporting and chart compliance. Sitting at the intersection of music tech, retail logistics, and label operations, you will ensure every digital and physical release meets Luminate guidelines—safeguarding chart eligibility and maintaining total reporting integrity across all campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Provider On-boarding: Transform raw Point-of-Sale (POS) data from Shopify, Square, and retail partners into Luminate’s required format; deliver verified sales files via SFTP prior to weekly reporting cutoffs.
• In-Store & Pop-Up Event Compliance: Review and approve fan experiences, in-store, pop-ups, and live event sales to guarantee full compliance with chart rules.
• Data Audit & Reconciliation: Audit sales data for anomalies and reconcile discrepancies directly with data providers and label partners to ensure accurate reporting.
• Release Level Reviews: Monitor release metadata and sales velocity to protect eligibility and maintain compliance across all digital and physical campaigns.
• Policy Enforcement: Deep operational knowledge of Luminate standards and Billboard chart eligibility.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Industry Experience: Proven background in music operations, metadata administration, sales tracking, or label data management.
• Compliance: Requires exceptional English comprehension to deeply analyze documentation, draft policies, and strictly enforce compliance rules.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with raw data manipulation, pipe-delimited file formatting, and SFTP transmission protocols.
• Execution & Attention to Detail: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to execute with precision under tight weekly deadlines.
• Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive, cross-departmental relationships. Highly adaptable, with the flexibility to thrive both independently and as part of a high-performing team.

A good faith estimate of the annual base salary range is $52,000/$25hr upon hire. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role.
