• In-depth understanding with Data Warehousing/ Business Intelligence concepts from QA perspective

• Create and maintain complex SQL queries such as type 2 triggers, all types of joins, aggregations, groupings etc...
• Executing the ETL Datastage jobs using UNIX shell scripts

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with:

• EDW source to target testing (SQL scripting)
• Data transformation/ manipulation testing (SQL scripting)
• Data quality/ completeness validation (SQL scripting)
• Working knowledge and testing experience of ETL

• Experience in running the scheduler (Mainframe ESP)
• Cognos QA Experience – Reports, Dashboards ,Cubes and Packages

-Data mapping validation

-Data reasonability testing

• Experience with HPQC (Test Management Tool)
• Experience with creation of Test Plan/ completion documents
• Automation experience with SHELL/ PERL scripting is beneficial
