Database Administrator

We are seeking experienced Database Administrator (IT) to join our team. Our DBA works all aspects of database administration including design, install, implement, monitor, maintain, tune and improve performance based on Oracle, PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server database for enterprise clients in different industries. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, service-minded with positive attitude towards professionalism and teamwork.

Responsibilities :

• Administer all aspects of MSSQL/ Oracle databases including design, install, implement, monitor, maintain, tune and improve performance to meet clients' needs
• Provide database solution, implementation and configuration
• Perform database monitoring and performance tuning as well as SQL optimization
• Implement solutions for managing Backup, Replication, High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR)
• Standby 24x7 on-call customer support in case related to SQL Server / Oracle databases
• Performs general-to-advanced database issue troubleshooting
• Provide recommendations and improvements for healthy and secured database for each customer's environment

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
• Preferred 2–5 years of experience; however, candidates with 1–2 years of experience or fresh graduates with strong academic records and relevant internship experience are welcome to apply.
• Experience using MSSQL or Oracle or PostgreSQL
• Knowledge in No-SQL DB like MongoDB or Redis will be big plus but not mandatory
• Strong SQL fundamentals
• Solid understanding of infrastructure, network and OS (Linux/Window) systems
• Highly service-minded, great sense of responsibility with active and analytical mindset
• Very attention to detail and able to prioritize important tasks
• Strong problem-solving and good communication skills
• Good command in English
