Applicants must have a minimum of 12 months of verifiable box truck driving experience to qualify. Dispatch or logistics experience does not replace this requirement.

This is not a dispatch-only position. The Driver Dispatcher must be able to drive box trucks and unload freight as needed.

TCI Logistics is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Driver Dispatcher to coordinate daily transportation operations, support our drivers, and deliver exceptional customer service. You’ll work closely with drivers, mechanics, customers, and internal teams to keep trips covered, schedules on track, and equipment ready.

This hands-on role combines dispatch coordination, operational support, and box truck driving—an opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems and contributing both in the office and behind the wheel.

🎯 What You’ll Be Doing

• 🚚 Coordinate Daily Dispatch: Assign drivers, adjust schedules, and ensure trips are covered safely and efficiently.

• 📍 Support Multiple Locations: Oversee dispatch activities across several locations, including remote facilities.

• 🛡️ Put Safety First: Monitor and audit Hours of Service, support terminal safety activities, and reinforce safe operating practices.

• ⚙️ Keep Equipment Moving: Coordinate equipment logistics and maintenance scheduling with the appropriate teams.

• 🤝 Deliver Strong Customer Service: Communicate clearly with customers and internal partners, resolve issues, and meet or exceed performance goals.

• 👥 Support Our Drivers: Organize and lead driver meetings while promoting teamwork, safety, and accountability.

• 🚛 Drive When Needed: Operate box trucks and perform driver unload responsibilities as operational needs require.

✅ What You Bring

• REQUIRED: At least 12 months of verifiable box truck driving experience.

• Ability to operate box trucks and physically unload freight as needed.

• Ability to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening.

• Familiarity with DOT compliance and Hours of Service regulations.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.

• A team-oriented approach, sound judgment, and a commitment to ethics and confidentiality.

Dispatch or logistics experience is strongly preferred, but it does not substitute for the required box truck driving experience.

📅 Schedule & Compensation

Hourly Pay: $24 per hour
Overtime: After 8 hours
Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday: 7:00pm-4:00am
