DELI ASSISTANT

Deli Assistant - Full Time

Londis Dundalk is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Deli Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will have previous deli experience, a strong understanding of food safety standards, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

• Prepare and serve hot and cold food products to a high standard.

• Ensure excellent customer service at all times.

• Maintain food displays, ensuring products are fresh, well-presented, and fully stocked.

• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures.

• Monitor food temperatures and complete required food safety records.

• Keep the deli area clean, organised, and compliant with company standards.

• Assist with stock rotation and waste control.

• Work effectively as part of a team and support colleagues as required.

Requirements

• Previous deli experience is essential.

• Level 2 HACCP certification is required.

• Good knowledge of food hygiene and food safety practices.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours.

• Available to work 6:30am – 3:00pm shifts, including Sundays.
