Deli Assistant - Full Time

EUROSPAR Castlecomer is seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Full-Time Deli Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will help deliver an excellent shopping experience by providing high-quality food products, outstanding customer service, and maintaining high standards throughout the deli department.

• Prepare and serve deli products in accordance with food safety and company standards

• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with product queries

• Ensure food is presented attractively and displayed to a high standard

• Monitor product quality, freshness, and stock levels

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the deli area

• Follow HACCP procedures and food safety regulations at all times

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the department

Requirements

• Previous experience in a deli, food service, retail, or customer-facing role is desirable but not essential

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of food safety and HACCP procedures is an advantage

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends
