Conveniently located amongst Sydney’s CBD, Darling Harbour, Darling Square and ICC precincts at Novotel Sydney Darling Square we are looking for Demi Chef to join our culinary team in a Full Time capacity.

Working alongside our Chef you will be assisting our culinary team with daily operational aspects of the kitchen and related outlets from buffet breakfast to Pumphouse Bar and restaurant to in room dining and function services.
What will you be doing:
- Supporting the Chef de Partie and senior culinary team during service
- Assisting with the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes.
- Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
- Following recipes and portion control guidelines.
- Ensuring stock is rotated, stored, and labelled correctly.
Qualifications
If you are adaptable and like working in a busy high-volume Kitchen then this is the team for you.
What we are looking for:
- You will have commercial cookery qualification Certificate III or Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery.
- You will work well in a team environment as well as autonomously.
- A genuine passion for cooking and developing your culinary skills.
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills with strong communication skills.
