Dental Assistant (3 - 4 Days per Week)

At Wanniassa Dental Surgery, we're looking for a friendly and reliable Dental Assistant to join our close-knit team 3 - 4 days a week on a permanent basis. Whether you're an experienced Dental Assistant or someone passionate about delivering exceptional patient care, we'd love to hear from you.

As a Dental Assistant, you'll play an essential role in ensuring our patients receive outstanding care while supporting our dentists with a wide range of clinical procedures.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting dentists during a variety of dental procedures
• Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising instruments
• Maintaining infection control and clinical standards
• Welcoming patients and helping them feel comfortable throughout their visit
• Managing clinical stock and equipment
• Supporting the team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
• Maintain sterilisation processes according to established protocols.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dental procedures and familiarity with dental terminology.
• Experience using dental software systems.
• Demonstrates empathy and a caring nature towards patients' needs and concerns.
• Possesses a friendly, positive, and flexible attitude, contributing to a welcoming environment for both patients and colleagues.
• Understanding of hygiene and infection control procedures to uphold clinic standards.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all aspects of the role.
