Dental Assistant/Receptionist - Alstonville & Lismore

Casual | 2–3 days per week | Stable, consistent hours

We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our teams across Alstonville Family Dental and Maven Dental Lismore.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, working with patients and supporting the clinical team. We can offer stable, consistent hours across 2–3 days per week, making this a great fit for someone looking for ongoing casual work.

Working across both our Alstonville and Lismore clinics, your day will include a combination of dental assisting and reception responsibilities, including:

• Assisting dentists during clinical procedures
• Preparing and setting up surgeries
• Sterilisation and infection control
• Welcoming patients and providing a warm, friendly experience
• Answering phones and managing patient enquiries
• Booking and confirming appointments
• Processing payments and assisting with general administration
• Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming clinic
• Supporting the wider team wherever needed

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, approachable and patient-focused
• Reliable and organised
• Comfortable working across both clinical and reception duties
• A confident communicator who enjoys working with people
• Able to work well as part of a team
• Previous dental assisting or dental reception experience is preferred, but we are open to the right person with a strong customer service background
• Available to work 2–3 days per week with stable, ongoing hours
