Dental Assistant/Receptionist - Melbourne Dental Specialists

As a key member of our team, you'll support both our clinical and front office operations, helping create a seamless experience for patients and clinicians alike.

Responsibilities include:

• Chairside assisting during specialist dental procedures
• Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining clinical set-up standards
• Instrument sterilisation and infection control procedures
• Managing patient appointments and treatment schedules
• Answering phone and email enquiries
• Welcoming patients and creating a positive first impression
• Processing payments and managing administrative tasks
• Supporting clinicians to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant and/or Dental Receptionist in Australia — Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting highly regarded
• Proactive, punctual, and reliable
• Understanding of infection control protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
• Professional presentation and a patient-focused approach

Highly Regarded

• Previous Periodontal (Perio) experience
• Experience working within a specialist dental practice
• Knowledge of dental practice management software
