We are seeking a dedicated Dental Receptionist to join our progressive, state-of-the-art practice. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity at our Spruce Grove Location.

Responsibilities & Duties

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Welcome and greet patients and parents/guardians upon arrival, ensuring a warm and professional first impression
  • Schedule and book patient appointments, managing the schedule efficiently
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
  • Manage insurance administration, including direct billing and liaising with insurance companies
  • Collect payments and close a balanced day
  • Additional duties may be assigned as required


Skills & Experience

We are looking for a professional who demonstrates the following clinical and interpersonal skills:

  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal
  • Computer proficient; able to learn new software quickly. Ortho2Edge and Curve Hero are used at our clinic
  • Experience in a dental clinic is an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with children of all ages
  • Available to work during applicable business hours
  • Willing to travel between different clinic locations across Edmonton
