Designer (Wooden Structures)

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Designer to join our team and contribute to the design of high-quality timber frame and log buildings. In this role, you will work closely with sales, production, and engineering teams to deliver practical, customer-focused solutions for international markets.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design timber frame and log buildings, including holiday homes, residential houses, garages, saunas, and other wooden structures.
• Adapt designs to meet the technical and regulatory requirements of different international markets.
• Develop designs with a strong understanding of manufacturing and installation processes.
• Collaborate with the team to improve design workflows, processes, and tools.
• Support and advise Sales colleagues on technical solutions to help deliver the best possible outcomes for customers.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Knowledge of architectural and/or structural design principles.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with SketchUp is considered an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Results-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Good English communication skills (minimum B1–B2 level).
• Previous experience designing timber frame or other wooden structures.
