Despatch Operative

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• To maintain a safe and clean working environment at all times.

• To find, transport and load products on to vehicles for despatch to customer premises safely and efficiently.

• To ensure the safe handling, transportation, stacking and storage of Company materials and products.

• To move finished products to designated areas of the stockyard as and when required.

• To safely and efficiently operate Company vehicles to meet despatch requirements.

• To maintain records accurately.

• To assist with the maintenance and inspection of Company vehicles.

• To assist the production and maintenance departments as and when required.

• To report all relevant information to the Yard Supervisor or Operations Manager.

• To follow the company Policies and Health and Safety Policies.

• To co-operate with management and other members of staff.
• Any other duty which may be required.
