With multiple awards to our name, Larian Studios has proven that we’re dedicated to delivering high-quality role-playing games As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for a DevOps Build Engineer to join the team and help us in crafting the high calibre games our fans have come to expect.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust build pipelines for each platform
  • Monitor and continuously improve our automated build and CI systems
  • Partner with IT to scale and maintain build server infrastructure
  • Create and keep documentation of the build/release process up to date
  • Support the release manager during patch releases
  • Be a go-to resource for teammates when they need a hand

    • Requirements

  • 2+ years of industry experience
  • Solid hands-on knowledge of Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines
  • Proficiency in a scripting language such as Ruby, Groovy, or Python
  • Experience automating workflows via shell/bash/cmd on Linux and/or Windows
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git, Perforce, or SVN
  • Clear communication skills, written and spoken, in English
  • Comfortable collaborating with others and taking ownership of your work
  • Enthusiasm for experimenting, iterating, and refining features
  • Strong software design and problem-solving abilities

  • Experience with Ansible or similar configuration management tools
  • Familiarity automating C#/C++ builds (e.g., MSBuild, CMake)
  • Exposure to full-stack development
  • Background working in the games industry
