About the role

Join our ambitious team as a Dev Ops Engineer supporting the hosting platform for the PayGlobal enterprise payroll solution. This position plays a key role in keeping our production environments stable, efficient, and secure. You will collaborate with multiple teams, such as Product Management, Delivery Managers, Architects, Developers, and more. Your knowledge will enable us to implement streamlined build, provisioning, deployment, and monitoring workflows. Additionally, you'll be able to mentor junior Dev Ops Engineers and engage in 24/7 on-call schedules to maintain flawless operations.

The skills you'll need

  • Experience as a Dev Ops Engineer working within a team, including over 2 years in an agile, large-scale, commercial environment.
  • Proven community engagement within the software engineering and development operations sectors.
  • Solid experience coordinating continuous integration systems like BuildKite, TeamCity, or similar tools.
  • Proficient in Python, PowerShell, C#, and AWS CDK with experience in multi-account pipelines.
  • Extensive knowledge of SDLC principles and methodologies, including Agile, Lean, Kanban, and Continuous Delivery.
  • Able to harness AI every day to find innovative and efficient ways to deliver objectives.
  • Expertise in MS SQL Server, Remote Desktop Services, and Amazon cloud technologies such as S3 storage, CloudWatch monitoring, and CloudFormation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
