Diesel Mechanic

Overview

GPM is now hiring a diesel mechanic to repair and maintain our entire fleet, which include tractors & tankers. Starting pay $30-$35 based on experience.

Responsibilities

Repair and replace defective parts, components or system

Interpret work orders and technical manuals

Test and repair equipment for proper performance and ensure the work meets manufacturer regulations

Repair emergency breakdowns

Qualifications

Tanker experience helpful but not a must

Some knowledge of DOT safety regulations

Knowledge of computer diagnostics prefrerred

Tanker experience with Macks & Freightliners preferred

Welding experience is helpful but not required

Must have own tools

Must be willing to be a part of an "ON-CALL" rotation
