Purpose of the Job – Overview

Job Title: Digital Marketer / SEO Specialist

Type: Onsite (Johar Town- LHR)

Timings:

  • Monday – Friday: 7:30 am to 5:00 pm BST

  • Onsite

Job Responsibilities

Keyword & Audience Research

  • Perform detailed keyword research and categorization.

  • Conduct audience and search term research, content audits, and competitor analysis.

  • Implement GEO optimization strategies for local and international SEO targeting.

SEO Strategy & Planning

  • Support in developing strategic plans, roadmaps, and client goals alongside SEO Strategy Managers.

  • Deliver SEO campaign work as assigned and assist with day-to-day client account management.

Technical SEO & Analysis

  • Run website crawls, analyze results, and produce detailed technical audits.

  • Identify and recommend on-page optimizations.

  • Support with in-depth competitor analysis, focusing on technical elements and SERP landscape.

Tools & Data Analysis

  • Gain proficiency in core SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, GA4, Google Search Console, etc.).

  • Analyze sites and data sources to identify issues and opportunities for improvement.

  • Collect data for backlink audits, Digital PR campaigns, and other purposes.

Reporting & Insights

  • Assist with reporting and insight generation (BAU, QBRs, new business).

  • Carry out accurate reporting, analysis, and research for existing projects.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Build strong working relationships across internal teams (Technical, Content, Digital PR).

  • Present work and results to internal teams and clients when required.

Innovation & AI Integration

  • Champion AI Search strategy and LLM readiness by optimizing products for discoverability and managing AI crawler accessibility.

  • Integrate AI tools and AIO (AI Optimization) techniques to automate BAU SEO activities, improving efficiency and scalability.

Performance & Leadership

  • Manage SEO technology platforms and vendor relationships.

  • Measure and analyze technical performance, providing strategic recommendations.

  • Lead, train, and develop direct reports, supporting growth and succession planning.

Professional Development

  • Stay updated on SEO trends, algorithm updates, AI-driven search, and industry innovations.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • You have substantial experience in technical SEO roles, and possess in-depth knowledge of SEO best practices for news publishers and large websites.

  • Hands-on experience with log file analysis, crawling and indexation diagnostics, core web vitals and rendering solutions.

  • Project management skills are essential, and familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban frameworks is advantageous.

  • Passionate about ‘GEO' and competent in using AI tools to automate tasks, synthesize research and generate solutions

  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Excel is a must.

  • Familiar with SEO tools (e.g., SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Lumar or similar).

  • Staying up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and webmaster updates is crucial.

  • Ability to multi-task and priorities in a fast-moving environment

  • Initiative and self-motivated

  • Excellent attention to detail
