Our focus is to hire and train Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to help people build independence, maintain routines, and stay connected to their communities in meaningful ways.
Role Overview
We are hiring an entry-levelDirect Support Professional (DSP) to provide consistent, structured care for individuals of all ages in the Yamhill County area. (No prior DSP experience required – paid training provided.)
This role centers around:
- Supporting daily routines and household structure
- Assisting with community-based activities and errands
- Encouraging independence while maintaining clear expectations
- Behavioral support
- Emotional regulation
- Crisis support
This is a strong fit for someone who isconsistent, patient, and confident maintaining boundaries in a supportive way.
Here are some examples of the current customers that are available:
- Customer 442:Teenage female in Eugene who needs reminders for personal hygiene and appropriate topics. Needs support at track meets and dance lessons and help with reading. What the schedule might look like: Monday 3:30pm-8pm, Tuesday-Friday 3:30pm-6pm and occasional Saturdays
- Customer 451:Adolescent male in Springfield who needs assistance with emotional regulation, personal hygiene and daily activities. Needs constant supervision to avoid elopement. Very high energy! What the schedule might look like: Every other Saturday/Sunday 10am-3pm and Wednesday 1pm-6pm
What You’ll Do
- Supportdaily living routines (meals, hygiene, organization)
- Assist withcommunity access (shopping, errands, outings)
- Provideemotional regulation support using calm, structured approaches
- Maintainclear boundaries and consistent expectations
- Assist withhousehold upkeep and organization
- Encourageindependence and personal responsibility
- Communicate updates with care teams and complete required documentation
- Help maintain asafe, predictable, and respectful environment
Compensation & Benefits
- $23–$25 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
- Paid training
- Flexible schedule based upon the customers needs
Full-time employees (30+ hours/week) may be eligible for:

Qualifications:
- Must be18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Current auto insurance (meeting state requirements)
- Ability to pass a background check (not all records are disqualifying)
- Comfortable supportingpersonal care needs
Preferred:
- Experience in caregiving, DSP, behavioral support, or IDD roles
- Experience supporting individuals with I/DD
- Strong communication and boundary-setting skills
- CPR/First Aid certification
