Direct Support Professional [M,T,W,TH, F] - 27hrs/week]

About this position

Pinnacle is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team and provide daily support to individuals with developmental disabilities. The successful candidate will have a passion for serving others and a commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all.

Current Opening and Schedule:

1. Looking for a PT experienced DSP, Schedule (hours somewhat flexible):
   1. Mon 9a–2p, Tue 12p–3:30p, Wed 9a–2p, Thu 9a–3:30p, Fri 12:30p–5:30p

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Ensure the individuals you support receive appropriate care for their medical and behavioral needs.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with the people you support, their families, and other stakeholders.
• Respond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Follow all policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  
• DSP experience and comfort supporting behavioral needs
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to transport clients in a personal vehicle

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to pass a State of Oregon background check
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle challenging situations
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation
