About this role
TCT Ministries is seeking a relationship-driven and growth-oriented Director of Affiliate Relations & Business Development to help expand the reach and impact of the network across broadcast, cable, streaming, digital, and over-the-air (OTA) platforms.
This role is responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships, strengthening affiliate relationships, identifying new distribution opportunities, and supporting revenue growth initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, relationship builder, and business development professional who enjoys creating opportunities, cultivating partnerships, and helping organizations grow.
The Director serves as a key ambassador for TCT, working with affiliates, media partners, distributors, and industry stakeholders to expand audience reach and support the ministry's mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage primary communications with affiliate, broadcast, and distribution partners.
- Build long-term relationships with streaming, OTA, and cable operator executives.
- Identify new leasing, revenue-sharing, and network growth opportunities.
- Expand the network's overall presence across emerging media platforms.
- Manage and optimize OTA subchannel portfolio occupancy and reach.
- Represent the organization professionally at major industry events and conferences.
- Generate a consistent pipeline of prospective distribution and affiliate partners.
- Monitor competitive market activity to protect and strengthen market positioning.
- Research new distribution technologies that align with long-term goals.
- Participate directly in negotiations for affiliate and distribution agreements.
- Partner with legal and finance teams to ensure contract compliance.
- Maintain accurate, centralized records of all active partner agreements.
- Track key distribution metrics to analyze ongoing partnership performance.
- Prepare data-driven reports, forecasts, and strategic updates for leadership.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with programming, marketing, engineering, and finance teams.
