Director for Regulatory Compliance

For over 125 years, Calvary Hospital and Calvary @Home located in the Bronx, New York has been dedicated to the palliative care of advanced cancer and other terminally ill patients and their families. The hospice receives patients from referring institutions throughout New York City and the entire tristate area. Requirements: Assist in the collection, aggregation and analysis of data for Home Care and Hospice QA&I monitors. Responsible for data entry for intra-departmental monitoring as well as regulatory monitoring. Assists the Assistant Director for Regulatory Compliance and the QA&I/Education Nurse in all educational and compliance activities.

Status: Full-Time

Salary: $140-160k annually

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 2 years data entry experience required with accurate typing ability.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel spreadsheets).
• Knowledge of graphic display of information. Attention to detail and follow-up; proven organization skills.
• Knowledge of Oasis.
• Knowledge of ICD coding.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively orally and in writing.
• Exhibits an ability and attitude relative to the spirit of caring and tradition at Calvary Hospital as required by specific job duties and functions.
