Role Summary:

As Perimeter’s Director of Marketing, you will drive the strategic marketing initiatives to promote our technology and ensure its successful penetration into target markets. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product development, sales, regulatory and clinical affairs to achieve business objectives while adhering to industry regulations and standards. Your primary responsibilities will encompass developing comprehensive marketing strategies, executing impactful campaigns, and analyzing market trends to capitalize on growth opportunities. Your ability to communicate effectively, leverage market insights, and adapt to dynamic market conditions will be critical in driving the success of our products and maintaining our competitive edge.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and hold accountable a high-performing marketing team, setting clear goals tied to customer acquisition outcomes, providing mentorship and performance management, and fostering a collaborative culture that delivers results for the sales organization.
  • Design, implement, and optimize multi-channel demand generation campaigns, spanning digital, social media, and traditional media—targeted at healthcare professionals, hospital decision-makers, and other key customer segments to drive qualified leads into the sales pipeline.
  • Own Perimeter's corporate brand identity, positioning, and messaging, ensuring consistent, differentiated, and compelling communication across all customer-facing channels that reinforces credibility and supports sales efforts in the marketplace.
  • Create customer-facing content in collaboration with the Sales, Product Marketing, and KOL teams—including HCP-targeted materials, hospital decision-maker resources, and KOL presentation content—that drives engagement and accelerates the sales cycle.
  • Own campaign performance measurement, building and maintaining metrics dashboards and reporting frameworks that track the impact of marketing activities on customer acquisition, and use those insights to continuously optimize spend and strategy.
  • Develop and execute the annual marketing communications plan, including content calendar, messaging framework, channel mix, resources, and budget, aligned to product launch timelines and sales team priorities for current and future products.
  • Independently own marketing projects from initiation through delivery, maintaining regulatory compliance in partnership with clinical and regulatory affairs teams. while presenting program updates, strategies, and budget recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Direct the event marketing program end-to-end, including national conferences, society meetings, regional events, customer dinners, and webinars, producing measurable pipeline and customer acquisition outcomes for the sales organization.
  • Create, own, and continuously improve a comprehensive library of sales and customer collateral, including product brochures, competitive battle cards, case studies, clinical evidence summaries, and sales presentations, that equips the sales team to acquire customers and close deals.
  • Own the strategy, planning, and execution of all tradeshow and conference participation—including booth design, pre-show outreach, on-site programming, and post-show follow-up to maximize lead generation and customer acquisition opportunities for the sales team.


Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in a similar marketing role, preferably in a medical device or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience executing comprehensive marketing communication plans and campaigns.
  • Organized with strong project management, multitasking and decision-making skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Patient education, advocacy and demand generation programs in medical device or health care.


Working Conditions

  • Travel required (15-20%)
