Director of Engineering - SAAS and MEAN stack hands on Required

We are looking for an ambitious hands-on lead engineer to drive our technology roadmap forward, contribute significantly to the growth and evolution of our platform and build a talented team beneath them. As an early team member, you will have the opportunity to work on all aspects of our platform:

Key responsibilities

• Building mobile-first, intuitive interfaces that drive strong user engagement
• Furthering our merchant dashboard, a data synthesis and visualization application providing concrete answers to the most critical brand investment questions
• Enhancing our data architecture and APIs, providing scalability as we add new data inputs to strengthen our platform’s network effect
• Leading the recruitment, hiring and management of a best-in-class engineering team
• Helping craft our company strategy, ensuring the tech roadmap delivers upon all strategic goals
• Interfacing with clients to ensure we deliver a product that drives value and meets their needs

Qualifications

Requirements

• Motivated by ownership and responsibility

• Posses great communication skills, keen to work directly with clients and internal cross-teams
• Have 6+ years professional software engineering experience, including 4+ years back-end
• Experienced scoping and building web applications delivering measurable impact to end users
• Have experience developing in open-source frameworks; background in MEAN stack a plus
• Understand RESTful web services and API architecture
