This position is responsible for execution and performance of the branded marketing programs, digital and social media presence, special events, entertainment, and Asian marketing initiatives resulting in Live! Casino & Hotel becoming the premier gaming destination in the mid-Atlantic region.
Responsibilities
Where You'll Make an Impact
- Directs the efforts of the advertising agency to create and maintain brand standards and to develop creative campaigns to attract new business.
- Creates programs and campaigns to increase gaming revenue, and non-gaming revenue derived from the sales of the event center, entertainment and food and beverage products.
- Oversees the digital and social efforts to ensure positive brand perception, as well as, a strong presence and following on social networking sites.
- Provides open and complete communications with operations, finance and all other departments.
- Leads the development and growth of the marketing department team members.
- Develops and manages the budget for advertising, social media, special events, entertainment and Asian marketing.
- Leads the Live! Casino & Hotel effort in establishing it as a community leader.
- Develops and trains staff, interviews for new hires and performs performance evaluations of direct reports and ensures timely, accurate and effective evaluations are completed on members of the marketing department.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Skills You'll Need to Succeed
- High degree of computer literacy with in-depth knowledge of PC and Mid-Range system applications.
- Outstanding communications and presentation skills.
- Seven (7) – ten (10) years’ experience in operating Consumer Marketing programs in a high-volume hospitality environment, including conceptualizing, producing and executing these types of programs.
- Ability to quickly analyze problems and present solutions in a clear and concise manner.
- The ability to multi-task.
A Few Must Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited Institution in a business-related field (i.e. Marketing, Finance, Business) or equivalent experience required.
- MBA is preferred.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license as determined by the State Gaming Control Agency for the position.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work extended hours across all shifts in a 24/7 work environment.
