Director of Substance Use Recovery - OP Therapy Services

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership, supervision, coaching, and professional development for outpatient SUD therapists and counselors
• Oversee quality, continuity, documentation, utilization, productivity, and clinical standards across assigned programs
• Support compliance with ASAM, CARF, state, organizational, and other applicable standards and requirements
• Partner with Quality, Compliance, Training, and other departments to strengthen clinical practice and staff development
• Collaborate with Substance Use Recovery Directors and other agency leaders on program development and service improvement
• Lead team communication, performance development, onboarding, hiring, and day-to-day staff operations
• Monitor program outcomes and performance metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and support implementation of effective solutions
• Coordinate with external partners and agencies as appropriate to strengthen services and continuity of care
• Support a culture grounded in ethical practice, professional growth, collaboration, and person-centered care
• Provide clinical or crisis response in accordance with current certifications and organizational protocols

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Master’s degree in counseling, psychology or social work required
• At least one (1) year of experience required

• Must possess and maintain a current, active clinical license in the state of Missouri (PLPC, LMSW, PLMFT, LPC, LCSW, or LMFT, as applicable) in good standing
• Must obtain and maintain current CPR certification within 60 days of hire
• Must obtain and maintain certification in an approved crisis intervention methodology (CPI, MANDT, or CALM) within 60 days of hire
