Director, Talent Acquisition & Development

Your Mission:

Your mission is to own full-cycle recruitment for Inspiration Mobility. Partnering closely with leaders across the organization, you will attract and hire top talent at all levels – from entry-level to executive – bringing operational rigor, sharp sourcing instincts, and a high bar for candidate experience to a small, high-performing HR team. You will also co-own the company's learning and talent development strategy, helping build the programs and infrastructure that grow our people afterthey'rehired.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the full recruiting lifecycle–from sourcing and screening to offer and close–for roles across the organization at every level, including senior and executive hiring

• Build andmaintaina strong candidate pipeline through proactive sourcing: direct outreach, social media, employee referrals, networking, and university partnerships

• Partner with hiring managers and senior leaders to define what“good”looks like for each role, calibrate on candidates, and structure and extend competitive offers

• Own recruiting metrics and reporting–time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, pipeline health–and use the data to continuously improve how we hire

• Represent Inspiration at career fairs, networking events, and talent conferences,as appropriate

• Collaborate with the HR team on onboarding andlead the design and delivery of learning and development initiatives – from needs assessment and skills gap analysis to program rolloutandleading trainings– including management training, microlearning, and ongoing employee programming

• Own the company's learning infrastructure:assess existing toolsandprocesses, recommend and implementplatformsas needed, track participation and effectiveness metrics, and continuously improve the L&D offering based on data and feedback

• Partner with leaders to build andmaintaincareer development frameworks, competency models, and succession-readiness tools that support employee growth at every level

• Champion a candidate experience that is consistent, inclusive, and reflective of who Inspiration is

Who You Are:

• You have 7+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience and have owned full-cycle recruiting across a range of functions and levels–including senior and executive hiring–and you have the results to show for it

• You build real relationships with hiring managers and senior leaders, so they see you as a trusted partner for hiring

• Youare a proactivesourcerwho uses your sharp instincts to build a strong pipeline from scratch rather than waiting for candidates to come to you

• You can jugglemultiple open requisitions, competing priorities,anddemanding stakeholders without lettingthecandidate experience slip

• Youbring hands-on learning and development experience – whetherthat'sdesigning training curricula,facilitatingleadership development programs,standing up learning tools and processes, or running skills-gap analyses – andyou'reexcited to own this function alongside recruiting

Salary: $130,000 – $155,000 base + bonus eligibility

Location: Washington, D.C. Our in-office team works from our Dupont Circle office Tuesday through Thursday.Remote work on Mondays and Fridays is voluntary, and employees are welcome to work from the office if they’d prefer.
