DISH TECHNICIAN + BUSSER

SUMMARY

We’re looking for a Dish Technician + Busser to help maintain a clean, orderly environment for our customers. You will clear away dishes and other debris from the tables, chairs, and surrounding areas. You will quickly clean up any spills or messes, ensuring the dining room is clean and safe at all times. You’ll also wash the dishes and cookware, ensuring items are thoroughly cleaned and well-preserved. By promptly attending to tables to make sure they’re ready for the next patron -and- taking care of other cleanliness details, you’ll play a key role in creating a comfortable environment for our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean tables, chairs, floors, and surrounding areas
• Sort dishes from debris carefully and deliver to dishwashing area
• Wash/dry dishes and cookware thoroughly (including loading/unloading the dishwasher)
• Stack/organize dishes and cookware appropriately after cleaning
• Clean kitchen appliances as directed by management
• Sweep and mop the floors at least twice a day
• Clean the bathrooms (including toilets, doors, and floors)
• Post the appropriate signage when areas are wet or being cleaned
• Check table alignments to ensure they’re level (adjust them as needed)
• Collect garbage and transfer it to the dumpster area
• Report maintenance issues and needed supplies/repairs to management
• Provide friendly, courteous service to customers

REQUIREMENTS

• Familiarity with working in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or GED preferable
