Distribution Center Associate - Afternoon shift

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent (40+ Hours per Week)

Compensation: $19.50/hr plus monthly productivity bonus

We are currently seeking a Distribution Center Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and teamwork.

About the Role:

The Distribution Center Associate plays a key role in ensuring products are received, processed, picked, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently. You will support inventory accuracy and help ensure stores and Shoemobiles receive the products they need to serve our customers.

This is a hands-on warehouse position that combines order fulfillment, inventory management, shipping/receiving, and general warehouse operations.

What You'll Do:

Order Fulfillment:

• Pick and prepare orders for retail stores and Shoemobiles accurately and efficiently.
• Receive inbound shipments and verify products against shipping documentation.
• Identify and report receiving discrepancies.
• Process stock transfer requests between locations.
• Assemble products and prepare shipments.
• Package merchandise securely and apply shipping labels and documentation.
• Replenish picking locations with overstock inventory as required.

Warehouse Operations & Inventory:

• Move received inventory to designated storage areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and inventory transactions.
• Conduct inventory checks and support inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Rotate stock and ensure warehouse organization standards are maintained.
• Process damaged goods according to company procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams to support operational requirements.
• Assist with additional warehouse duties and special projects as required.

What We're Looking For:

Qualifications:

• Able to work Monday to Friday 3pm-11:30pm
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, distribution center, shipping/receiving, inventory, or logistics experience is considered an asset.
• Experience using scanning technology and inventory systems.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to solve problems and work independently when required.
• Commitment to workplace safety and following company procedures.

Physical Requirements:

• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, twist, squat, and reach throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs with assistance.
• Comfortable climbing ladders to access elevated storage areas up to 10ft in height
• Able to work in an environment that requires both speed and accuracy.
