Document Imaging Clerk II

SUMMARY

The Document Imaging Clerk II prepare and processes mail pre- and post-scanning to support the Center for Medicare Medicaid Services (CMS). Performs data entry. Maintains document files. This full-time position is 100% onsite in the Oklahoma City area.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to pass a customer background for access to facilities, equipment and property.
• Experience in a mailroom environment, mail prepping, sorting, and intake.
• Experience in Medicare recovery environment is preferred, including: Medicare policies and procedures, MSP related systems (ReMAS, BCRS, and image repositories).
  
  

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Performs sorting of outgoing and/or incoming mail using the appropriate sorting program or manual distribution.
• On a rotation basis, performs all of the following duties: Opens mail, faxing & filing, data entry into appropriate systems, tracking of mail & delivery, scanning/saving mail and correspondence to imaging, other duties as assigned. 
• Stores, catalogs and disposes of stored documents.
  

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of one to three (1-3) years relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education/experience.

Regularly exposed to general office and general office machinery noise.
