JP Liquids, a division of JP Energy Partners is engaged in the transportation of natural gas liquids by tank truck in the Eagle Ford and Permian Basin. JP Liquids has established a reputation for outstanding service and flexibility to meet its customers’ needs and also has an excellent safety record, which it has maintained through its rapid growth over the last 5 years.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting in planning route assignment as determined by Manager Shop/Fleet.
- Participate in the hiring, training, coaching, and performance management of delivery representatives with assistance from general manager.
- Participate the Manager Shop/Fleet for maintaining fleet preventative maintenance schedule.
- Enforce/comply with all environmental & health and safety federal, state, local regulations and company policies.
- Plan equipment allocations to meet transportation and operation goals.
- Direct workers in safe practices of material handling and transportation of hazardous material.
- Resolve worker problems or collaborate with general manager to assist in problem resolution.
- Monitor field work to ensure that materials are being handled properly and that paper work is filled out correctly.
- Recommend and implement measures to improve worker motivation, equipment performance, work methods, and customer service.
- Responsible for new hire driver training and monthly safety training
- Periodic inspections of trucks/trailers at our loading/unloading locations
- On – Call 24/7
- Review PeopleNet reports on driver violations on a weekly basis
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally working in confined spaces;
- Occasionally lifting, pushing pulling weights of sixty (60) pounds or more;
- Occasionally bending, twisting, and turning while lifting weights of less than fifty (50) pounds;
- Occasionally walking of two (2) or more miles per day;
- Sitting for extended periods of time;
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Transportation or related field experience preferred;
- Class A CDL is a plus
- Self-motivated, proven problem solver, team player with excellent communication skills;
- Customer oriented/focused;
- Excellent communication and planning skills;
- Strong safety advocate/leader who promotes associate well-being
