Drop Ship Lead

Position Summary

The Drop Ship Lead supports daily dropship operations by coordinating and participating in the picking, packing, scanning, and shipping of customer orders. This position provides day-to-day guidance and training to warehouse associates, helps maintain productivity and quality standards, and promotes a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work a full-time schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and maintain dependable and regular attendance.
• Lead, train, guide, motivate, and provide day-to-day direction to warehouse associates.
• Support the evaluation of warehouse staff and provide feedback to the Dropship Supervisor as needed.
• Pick items from designated warehouse locations and pack orders as needed.
• Maintain a shipping productivity rate of 25 packages per hour.
• Use the warehouse management system (WMS) to scan items and generate shipping labels.
• Load packages onto assigned small-parcel carriers for shipment.
• Palletize shipments according to company and business-partner guidelines.
• Replenish quick-pick locations to support efficient order fulfillment.
• Operate material-handling equipment to transport products throughout the warehouse.
• Monitor work quality and help ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all safety protocols, company policies, and warehouse procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Forklift experience required.
• Three or more years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Previous lead, training, or supervisory experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Working knowledge of computers and warehouse systems.
• Ability to organize work, manage multiple priorities, and support a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Compensation

Hiring Range: $17.25 - $32.00 USD per hour

Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, education, geographic location, market conditions, and applicable skills.
