We're looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Duty Manager to join our team at Ormiston Town Centre.
This is an excellent opportunity for a student or someone early in their career who is looking to gain experience in customer service, retail operations, and centre management. You'll be part of a supportive team, helping create a positive experience for our customers, retailers, and visitors while developing skills that will set you up for future career opportunities.
This is a permanent part-time position, primarily working weekends and public holidays, making it ideal for someone studying during the week or working part time at 9-18 Hours per week.
The Value You'll Add
As our Duty Manager, you'll help ensure the centre runs smoothly by:
- Providing exceptional customer service to shoppers, retailers, and visitors.
- Acting as the first point of contact for customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally.
- Supporting the day-to-day operations of the shopping centre during your shift.
- Monitoring the centre and responding to operational matters as they arise.
- Assisting with centre events, promotions, and community activities.
- Coordinating with contractors, security, cleaners, and retailers to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who:
- Is available to work weekends and public holidays on a regular basis.
- Has customer service, retail, hospitality, or other people-facing experience (preferred but not essential).
- Is confident using Microsoft Office and learning new systems.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is organised, reliable, and able to take initiative.
