At Animal Hospital of Colorado, we aim to build meaningful relationships with our clients and can’t wait to work with new clients and their furry family members.

We believe giving back to our community is important and have fostered a close relationship with a local rescue center, All Aboard Animal Rescue. Our veterinary team offers medical care to rescue dogs, and we’re honored to be a part of helping them find their forever families.

Position Purpose

Come extern with us!Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program works to provide veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help have them 'practice ready' by their first day in practice.

Externships are typically 2 weeks long and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed.

Length of externship is flexible & we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.

Requirements/Qualifications

Eligibility

Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School

Must be able to provide student PLIT
