Economics Teacher

We are looking for an Economics Teacher for an international school based in Tongxiang, Zhejiang province. This position is available from November 2026 for the 2026/27 academic year.

Job details

• Teach Economics to secondary school students and prepare them for the IGCSE and A-Level curriculum
• Plan and deliver lessons, assessments and student progress reports
• Monitor student progress and give clear, constructive feedback to students and parents
• Work with fellow teachers to develop and enhance the curriculum
• Create a supportive, safe and engaging learning environment
• Teaching load in line with the school's standard secondary timetable

Requirements

• Excellent spoken and written English
• Bachelor's degree or above in Economics or a related subject, with a valid teaching qualification/certificate
• At least 2 years of previous teaching experience
• Familiarity with the IGCSE and A-Level curriculum required
• Enthusiastic, responsible, and a strong team player in a multicultural setting
