EGD Gr 10 - 12 Teacher

Simond Private School is seeking a dynamic and passionate EGD Teacher to inspire and guide learners across Grades 8–12. This role involves delivering high-quality instruction in Engineering and Graphic Design (IEB), while possibly also contributing to other relevant teaching within the CAPS and IEB frameworks.

The ideal candidate is a committed educator who combines strong subject expertise with innovative teaching methods, effectively integrating technology to enhance learning. Beyond the classroom, the teacher plays a vital role in learner development, assessment, and meaningful engagement with parents and colleagues.

Requirements

Relevant tertiary qualification in EGD or equivalent. SACE registration – essential. Minimum of 3–5 years’ teaching experience in EGD Education will be advantageous. IEB experience advantageous. Strong classroom management and learner engagement skills. Proficient in integrating technology into teaching. Police clearance and clearance from the National Register for Sex Offenders (NRSO).
