EH&S Specialist

Overview

We are looking for an EH&S Specialist to lead and support environment, health, and safety initiatives across Italy and provide additional support to Spain, Portugal, and the Middle East. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, risk prevention, contractor oversight, and promoting a Zero Incident culture. Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of Italian EH&S regulations, relevant qualifications, and fluency in Italian and English.

Responsibilities

• Implement and ensure compliance with all CCR and regulatory EH&S requirements with a focus on Italy and support Middle East, Spain and Portugal.
• Promote a ZERO Incident culture and drive reporting of unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, near-misses and stop work events.
• Conduct risk assessments and enforce control measures for field and facility hazards.
• Ensure contractor compliance with EH&S standards.
• Lead mandatory EH&S reporting (incident management, monthly reports, performance scorecards).
• Execute and oversee EH&S Annual Plans, training, and performance targets.
• Support global and regional EH&S strategies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Health, Safety, Environmental, or Engineering fields or a comparable education.
• Strong knowledge of Italian EH&S regulations (mandatory occupational health and safety qualification is a must have).
• Fluent in Italian and English; other languages are a big advantage.
• Willing to travel within Italy.
• Experience in designing and maintaining EH&S management systems.
• Analytical, results-driven, and able to prioritize effectively.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage change and drive performance.

Minimum Gross Annual Salary: €39.000
