About the Role:

We are looking for an Electrical and Automation Engineer to join our Maintenance team in a newly established manufacturing environment. This hands-on role is responsible for executing electrical maintenance and automation activities to ensure safe, stable, and reliable operation of production equipment and utility systems. You will play a key role in supporting equipment commissioning, ramp-up, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives that drive operational excellence and product quality.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily electrical and automation maintenance activities for production equipment and facility systems.

  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and troubleshoot issues to minimize production downtime.

  • Perform preventive maintenance and monitor equipment condition to improve reliability and stability.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.

  • Lead and support equipment reliability and safety improvement projects.

  • Participate in equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and ramp-up activities.

  • Ensure maintenance readiness and support smooth production start-up.

  • Coordinate maintenance activities for utility systems, including power supply, compressed air, cooling systems, wastewater treatment, fire-fighting, and fire alarm systems.

  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety standards and procedures.

  • Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, QA, and other stakeholders to support operational objectives and continuous improvement.

What you'll need:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.

  • 2–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience in process manufacturing industries such as plastics, polymers, foam, or similar industries is preferred.

  • Knowledge of electrical systems, automation systems, high-pressure systems, TCU, and HPU.

  • Hands-on experience with PLC, HMI, Siemens software, and SCADA systems.

  • Proven experience in preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and data analysis skills.

  • Good English communication skills.

  • Experience in equipment installation, commissioning, or manufacturing ramp-up is an advantage.
